In Elden Ring, Golden Seeds are extremely important to find on your journey throughout The Lands Between. Golden Seeds allow the player to increase the amount of Crimson or Cerulean Flasks carried, helping recharge HP or FP to increase your survivability or damage output. Here's a guide on everything you need to know about Golden Seeds in Elden Ring.
Elden Ring Golden Seed Guide
Golden Seeds are found at the base of Illusory Trees and can be found all throughout The Lands Between. The trees where you can find Golden Seeds will look like this:
Unfortunately, the amount of Golden Seeds you need to go upgrade the number of flasks you carry with you will scale upwards as you progress through the game. The cost will increase as follows:
- Up to six total flasks require one seed per upgrade
- Up to eight total flasks require two seeds per upgrade
- Up to ten total flasks require three seeds per upgrade
- Up to twelve total flasks require four seeds per upgrade
- Up to fourteen total flasks require five seeds per upgrade
This progression means players will need 30 Golden Seeds in total to reach the maximum amount of flasks available to them in the game. Fortunately, there are more than 30 Golden Seeds in The Lands Between for you to find, so you do not need to find them all or start a new game to maximize the number of flasks you can carry.
A full guide to every Golden Seed Location can be found here but there are some basic principles to follow that can take you a long way. At least one Golden Seed can be found in nearly every region and Legacy Dungeon in The Lands Between. If you are looking to fully clear an area and haven't found one yet, there is more for you to explore. Additionally, the four regions with the most concentrated collection of Golden Seeds to find are Limgrave, Leyndell, Altus Plateau, and the Mountaintops of the Giants. Good luck in your search, Tarnished.
