Call of Duty: Warzone players excited for Vondel Battle Royale will not have to wait much longer.
Warzone Season 4 brought a new meta to the game, as well as some much-needed changes to player health. Now, players can use a few broken weapons to shred through the 300HP of a fully armored enemy as they look to reach the Warzone Ranked Top 250 Leaderboard.
New map, Vondel also dropped in the latest update, giving players a welcomed escape from the unpopular Ashika Island. Vondel contains 15 POIs throughout a Netherlands landscape, all connected by an intricate canal system. At launch, the map was only available in Resurgence and DMZ, but the Season 4 roadmap promised a Battle Royale mode in the near future.
So, when is Battle Royale coming to Vondel?
Warzone Vondel Battle Royale Release Date
Vondel Battle Royale will go live in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded. Although Activision has not confirmed a release date for the mid-season update just yet, we can expect Season 4 Reloaded to drop on July 12.
Since Vondel is a smaller map, players will have to adopt a different play style than when they play Al Mazrah Battle Royale. Plus, those used to spawning into Vondel Resurgence will have to slow down their gameplay if they want to secure a Battle Royale victory.
Vondel will also include a new Gulag in its Battle Royale mode. The teaser image for the Gulag resembles the Verdansk Prison showers Gulag and seems to be a great improvement from the Al Mazrah Gulag layout.
