The 2KDay Countdown is officially on as 2K revealed three new special guest announcers that will be gracing the headsets and speakers of players in NBA 2K23.
After NBA 2K22 focused on introducing each PA announcer from every real-life arena in the NBA, it appears 2K is looking to bolster its broadcast crew in NBA 2K23.
NBA 2K23 Special Guest Announcers: Full List
The three new special guest announcers being added in NBA 2K23 are Richard Jefferson, Mike "The Czar" Fratello and 1990’s Chicago Bulls PA announcer Ray Clay.
Richard Jefferson
A main fixture of national NBA broadcasts these days, former 2015-16 NBA champion Richard Jefferson is primed to join the likes of Kevin Harlan and Brian Anderson in the booth when players are using modern teams in NBA 2K23.
Mike "The Czar" Fratello
Adding an extra layer of authenticity to NBA 2K23's Jordan Challenge content, it appears 2K has called on longtime NBA color commentator Mike "The Czar" Fratello to share some of his wisdom when players make things happen in the retro settings.
Ray Clay
Lastly, the famous voice of the 1990s Chicago Bulls, former PA announcer Ray Clay, will be rounding out the new lineup to further add to the realism of the Jordan era.
NBA 2K23 is set to release worldwide for PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam) on Sept. 9, 2022.
