Activision and Sledgehammer Games have revealed the first official look at Call of Duty; Modern Warfare III multiplayer maps.
MWIII is a direct sequel to Modern Warfare II. Controversially, the game will only feature 16 remastered maps from the original Modern Warfare 2 (2009) at launch for traditional and competitive multiplayer. While a lot of these maps hit that nostalgic spot for many, learning new maps and falling in love with them is part of the COD experience each year. Players who want new maps will have to wait for seasonal updates. There will be three new core, 6-v-6 maps in Seasons 1 and 2.
In what Activision is calling "one of the greatest Day One Multiplayer offerings of all time, here's your first look at 13 of the 16 remastered maps launching with MWIII.
