Wondering if Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is included in the PlayStation Plus subscription? Here's what you need to know.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, remaster of the 2007 PSP title Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, is set to release on Dec. 13, 2022. The remaster was announced back in June, as part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of the original Final Fantasy VII.
Set seven years prior to the events of Final Fantasy VII, Crisis Core follows Zack Fair, a young Shinra SOLDIER operative, as he uncovers the dark secrets of Shinra’s experiments. Aside from featuring new HD graphics, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion also makes use of an updated combat system and a newly arranged soundtrack.
With the game's release date slowly creeping up, players might be hoping for it to be included as part of the PlayStation Plus subscription.
Is Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion Included in PlayStation Plus?
At the time of writing, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion will not be included as part of the PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra or Premium subscription — at least not as a day one release.
It's possible that we could see the title head to the service in the future, but likely not for some time.
Players can pre-order Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, with its release scheduled for Dec. 13, 2022.
Interestingly, the game will also be available to purchase on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch, despite Final Fantasy VII Remake being a PlayStation console exclusive. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion will also be available on PC.
