Charcadet is Pokémon you won’t want to pass up in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Released on Nov. 18, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet introduced over 100 new generation nine Pokémon that roam the vast Paldea region. Amongst these Pokémon, Charcadet, is regarded as one of the strongest and best additions to the franchise. To understand its glory and potential, here is everything you need to know about Charcadet.
Charcadet Evolution: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Depending on the version of the game, Charcadet is able to evolve into one of two Pokémon. In Scarlet, the Fire Child Pokémon evolves into Armarouge, a Fire and Psychic-type, whereas in Violet, trainers will get Ceruledge, a Fire and Ghost-type.
The process of evolving Charcadet is almost identical in both versions of the game. It involves trading with a NPC in Zapapico near the Poison Team Star Base who will have an orange speech bubble over their head that says "Fancy a trade?"
Along with having Charcadet in your party, in Scarlet, you’ll need 10 Bronzor Fragments for the Auspicious Armor and, in Violet, to get Malicious Armor, the trade will require 10 Sinistea Chips. These items are obtained by defeating and/or catching Bronzor and Sinistea in the nearby fields.
Charcadet Stats: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
For a first evolution Pokémon, Charcadet comes with reasonably high base stats, with a lot of room to grow when evolved: 40 HP, 50 ATK, 40 DEF, 50 SP. ATK, 40 SP. DEF, and 35 SPEED.
