AEW Fight Forever is now live after three years of anticipation. Unfortunately, the release has not been without some drawbacks; the game does not include AEW's full roster and does not support cross-platform play. Plus, its arcade-style gameplay is full of pixelated glitches.
Despite the issues, the game is still offers AEW fans some chaotic fun as they compete in Barbed Wire Deathmatches and battle for the online AEW World Tag Team championships. The game can even be played on the go.
Is AEW Fight Forever on Steam Deck?
AEW Fight Forever is on Steam Deck, along with PC, Xbox and PlayStation consoles, and Nintendo Switch. Although the Steam Deck graphics are a bit lacking, players can indeed wrestle away from their setup. In a pre-release FAQ, THQ Nordic confirmed they are working on getting full Steam Deck support "shortly."
Unlike WWE 2K23, AEW Fight Forever gamers will have to tweak their settings to get the best visuals on their Steam Deck. The gameplay is already riddled with bugs on PC and console, so trying to navigate intense matches on a much smaller device is certainly a challenge.
AEW Fight Forever is currently on sale on Steam for $52.19 until July 6.
