Curious about how you can get titles in League of Legends? We've got you covered.
With the addition of challenges in Patch 12.9, there are a few different places where challenges show up outside of your profile. In fact, Riot Games has updated lobbies to make space for all the things that challenges provide.
With that in mind, let's dive into how you can acquire titles.
How to Get Titles in League of Legends
In League of Legends, your Summoner Icon will still be the centerpiece. Hovering over your Summoner Icon will display a tooltip that reveals your past and current rank, Summoner Icon info, and detailed challenges information. The Summoner names will still be in the same spot, but titles will go right underneath them.
Titles ("Dragonmaster") are earned by leveling up certain challenges to specific tiers. Additionally, you can freely choose between any title you've unlocked.
These challenges are designed to provide progression to all League players. With over 300 challenges, you can level up individual challenges from Iron to Master. From there, there are many challenges within the Grandmaster and Challenger tiers.
Riot Games believes that with every game that's being played, win or lose, there's something worth celebrating. Additionally, Riot stated that "we believe that Challenges will help tell a story ofyour League experience andyour journey to be the very best that no one ever was."
Ultimately, players will be rewarded for achieving different goals throughout their battles on Summoner's Rift and Howling Abyss.
