Fortnite's Dreamer Cup events begins today, Sept. 6. Here are the details.
The Dreamer Cup is a Zero Build Squads Tournament. The tournament is the result of a collaboration between Fortnite and DC Comics, hence the presence of the renowned DC Heroine for which the tournament is named. According to the Fortnite competitive calendar, "Top Squads on the Leaderboard at the end of the event will win early access to the Dreamer cosmetic outfit."
Fortnite Dreamer Cup Details
As mentioned, the Dreamer Cup launched Tuesday at 11 a.m. ET in the Middle East region. The tournament will continue for European region players at 1 p.m. ET. Appropriately qualified players on any platform may participate.
Format
Eligible players must be ranked at least I - IV in the Open League within their server region to participate. The event is set to last three hours, with a single player able to participate in up to 10 matches within the tournament. Players will earn points based on their finishing place and the sum of those points at the end of the tournament will determine the player's finish in the tournament.
Scoring
Here are the points scored based on placement within a single round. One additional point is also earned for each opposing player eliminated.
Victory Royale: 30 Points
2nd: 24 Points
3rd: 21 Points
4th: 19 Points
5th: 17 Points
6th: 15 Points
7th: 14 Points
8th: 13 Points
9th: 12 Points
10th: 11 Points
11th: 10 Points
12th: 9 Points
13th: 8 Points
14th: 7 Points
15th: 6 Points
16th: 5 Points
17th: 4 Points
18th: 3 Points
19th: 2 Points
20th: 1 Point
Prizes
