The next map to get added to Warzone 2's Battle Royale could be MW2's Las Almas, according to leaks.
Now that March has arrived, Call of Duty fans are looking ahead to Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded, which is expected to drop in a few weeks time. According to CharlieIntel, the mid-season content update will feature a new 6v6 map, a new weapon and a new Raid.
But, rumors of a new large-scale map in Warzone 2 have also been floated around, though it's unclear if this will be coming in Season 2 Reloaded or further beyond. According to known CoD leaker @TheGhostOfHope, the next big map to enter Warzone 2's rotation is Modern Warfare 2's Las Almas.
Las Almas to be Next Big Map Added to Warzone 2, Say Leaks
Activision previously revealed that there would be another big map coming to Warzone 2 in 2023, but remained tight-lipped about what that would be. TheGhostOfHope claims that the next map will be Las Almas, with players latching on to the idea owing to the map's existence in multiplayer.
As part of the addition, it seems some classic maps could also be making an appearance. TheGhostofHope made some speculations of what players could expect to see:
"I wonder what maps from COD4/MW2/MW3 we might see on the Las Almas Warzone map? Favela seems like a guarantee in my opinion," the leaker said.
Those who have played Modern Warfare 2 will be familiar with Las Almas' layout, but perhaps we'll see a number of changes when it eventually drops in Warzone 2.
It's unclear when we'll see the new map drop in Warzone 2, but it's likely safe to assume that it'll be some time before Activision makes any new announcements.
