Anyone hoping to see Starfield in the list will be left disappointed. They'll need to upgrade to Xbox Games Pass Ultimate if they want access to Bethesda's latest title.
The line-up of available game will be updated up to three times a year, and a subscription to Core gets you all of the benefits that used to be included with Xbox Live Gold, which it replaces. Those benefits include online console multiplayer, deals and discounts.
Any Xbox One games previously redeemed through Games with Gold will remain accessible to Core members as long as they continue to subscribe, while Xbox 360 titles redeemed through Games with Gold will remain playable even if a Core subscribtion ends.
If you're temped by those 36 launch titles, Game Pass Core costs $9.99 per month (or $59.99 per year). Paying an extra $7 per month upgrades you to Game Pass Ultimate and unlocks access to Starfield, hundreds of other games, and EA Play membership.
