World of Warcraft: Dragonflight has finally arrived, giving players new actions and content to explore. Here's how to dismount during the new Dragonriding action.
World of Warcraft's Dragonflight expansion went live yesterday, introducing players to heaps of new content. The brand-new dracthyr Evoker, World of Warcraft’s first-ever race and class combination, has entered the fray, alongside four new zones: the Waking Shores, Ohn’ahran Plains, the Azure Span and Thaldraszus.
With the new features comes the Dragonriding skill, used only with Dragon Isles Drakes —customizable is replaced with the Dragonriding skills, and a new resource: Vigor.
Flying is one thing in Dragonflight, but how do you dismount mid-flight?
How to Dismount During Dragonriding in Dragonflight
One way to dismount during Dragonriding is to enable the "Auto Dismount in Flight" settings. To do this first head to the options menu.
From here, head to Gameplay and select Controls. Toggle the "Auto Dismount in Flight" option. Its description reads, "If enabled, your character will automatically dismount before casting while flying."
Alternatively, having your new Proto-Drake (or whichever Drake you have in your possession) on the new action bar will help with summoning and dismissing your dragon, allowing you to dismount when needed.
