With Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion just around the corner, some might be wondering whether or not it's going to arrive on Xbox Game Pass.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, remaster of the 2007 PSP title Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, is set to release on Dec. 13, 2022. The remaster was announced back in June, as part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of the original Final Fantasy VII.
Set seven years prior to the events of Final Fantasy VII, Crisis Core follows Zack Fair, a young Shinra SOLDIER operative, as he uncovers the dark secrets of Shinra’s experiments. Aside from featuring new HD graphics, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion also makes use of an updated combat system and a newly arranged soundtrack.
With the game's release date slowly creeping up, players might be hoping for the game to be included in Xbox Game Pass.
Is Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion on Xbox Game Pass?
Despite Final Fantasy VII Remake being a PlayStation console-exclusive, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion will be getting a release on Xbox — but not on Xbox Game Pass.
At least not for the time being.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion will be releasing on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on Dec. 13, 2022 — the same day as its PlayStation release. The game will also be released on Nintendo Switch and PC.
Sadly, for those hoping to save some cash, the game will be not releasing as a day one entry to the Xbox Game Pass library. That doesn't rule the game out from entering the selection sometime in the future, but neither Square Enix or Microsoft have made any formal announcements at the time of writing.
