Valorant Episode 5 finally arrived, and players have had the chance to play the new map, Pearl. Players have two weeks to perfect their gameplay in Pearl before it is added to the competitive map pool.
Pearl will be added to the competitive queue on July 12 in Patch 5.01. Until then, there will be a temporary six-map pool.
Valorant Pearl Competitive Release Date
If you haven't had a chance to play the map, you can play Pearl in Unrated, Deathmatch, Spike Rush, and the new game mode Pearl, which is an unrated game, but you do not have to queue in hopes that you get the map,
Whenever a new map is released on Valorant, Riot Games does not include the map in competitive play for the first two weeks. This allows players and Riot Games to trial the map and make sure there are no bugs and glitches before it is added to competitive.
More About Pearl
Pearl features a tactical three-lane setup and will replace Split in the Competitive rotation. Fans hope that Split returns in the future with reworks, as Riot Games hinted when the news was first announced.
Valorant Episode 5 Act 1 is now available and players can try the map in Unrated.
