A new LTM has made its way to Warzone. But just what is the Death and Taxes LTM?
Yesterday, Raven Software revealed that an LTM would be replacing the standard Battle Royale mode in Warzone Pacific. While many fans are often happy to see more variety head to Warzone, others tend to wish it wasn't at the cost of the games regular Battle Royale. But, fortunately (and perhaps unfortunately for some), this LTM will only be live for 24 hours.
This means that the Death and Taxes LTM will end later today. So, if you don't want to miss out but are perhaps unsure of what the new mode involves, we've provided a little breakdown of what you need to know.
How Does Death and Taxes Mode Work in Warzone Pacific?
The Death and Taxes LTM doesn't alter too much of the regular formula outside of two simple changes:
- Infinite Gulag, as long as you keep winning them
- No death tax
In the regular Battle Royale, players get one shot at the Gulag when they die. Winners get deployed back into the match, losers will have to be revived at a Buy Station. But, thanks to this latest LTM, even if you die again you'll get your chance to prove yourself in the Gulag once more - so long as you keep winning.
Players usually lose a lot of their in-game cash upon death, adding in another penalty upon revival that sets you at a bit of a disadvantage. In the Death and Taxes LTM, this is no longer an issue as players will retain their money after re-emerging from the Gulag.
That's all there really is to the Death and Taxes mode in Warzone Pacific. Though players only have a few more hours to try it out for themselves.
