In NBA 2K23 MyCareer on Next Gen, MVP Points remain to be a prominent part of the mode's RPG-esque, open-world City experience.
For those on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S wondering what these rewards are for, here's a breakdown of the MVP Points system in NBA 2K23 Next Gen.
What Are MVP Points in NBA 2K23?
Making its series debut last year with NBA 2K22 MyCareer on Next Gen, MVP Points have returned and, once again, are earned by just about everything you do in the City. NBA and City games, interviews, Side Quests and runway walks, among other things, all bring players one step closer to becoming the "MVP of the City."
This year, MVPs of the City unlock a Bronze Statue, and 7,500 VC essentially by completing the main questlines.
From the music-centered "It's a Cole World" quest to the fashion-inspired "Courting Calloway" quest, just about every mission in the game rewards players with MVP Points.
MVP Points also have their own milestone quests that give out thousands of free VC for players who accumulate enough of them.
