Call of Duty insider Tom Henderson (@_Tom_Henderson_) has revealed the layout of what may be the next Warzone map for the game's sequel, Warzone 2.
A new tweet from Henderson published to his official Twitter profile yesterday, May 21, has revealed the full layout of the new map headlining Warzone 2 as well as confirmation that players will be able to swim in this new installment. The tweet was published with a photo containing a short class of bourbon sitting on top of a Call of Duty Vanguard disc-turned-coaster. The small paper beside it, however, has fans scrambling for more answers.
Warzone 2 New Map Layout and Swimming Mechanic
Despite a reluctance to drawing up the layout of the new Warzone 2 map, it appears that Henderson has risked DMCA, after all, to bring the information to the people. The paper sitting next to the glass very well may be the full layout of the Blackout-like map, including the general shape and landmark areas.
According to the layout sketch, players can expect the following environments:
- Quarry
- Caves
- Modern City
- Airport
- "A lot of sea"
While the last point may be concerning, players shouldn't worry since they'll be able to swim.
"A lot of sea here!" He wrote, "Good job you can swim!"
DBLTAP cannot confirm anything about the mechanic for swimming, of course, including its utility or further development. However, this comes as no surprise given the alleged Blackout map similarities. More information about the map could be revealed as the game continues its development.
