Valorant Patch 7.09 Agent Tier List

Searching for the best Agents to run in Valorant Episode 7 Act 3? Check out our Valorant patch 7.09 Agent tier list.

The newest Valorant Act dropped today with a handful of Agent changes, including a nerf to Raze and a buff to Cypher. Plus, Agent 24 finally joined the game after weeks of teasers. Iso, a Chinese Duelist, is here as the newest option in an already stacked roster of Agents.

Here's a breakdown of the elite and struggling Agents after the Valorant 7.09 update.

Valorant Patch 7.09 Agent Tier List

S-Tier

  • Killjoy
  • Viper
  • Jett
  • Sova

In Valorant Episode 7 Act 3, Jett is once again shaping up to be the best Duelist in the game. Although she received a massive nerf last Act, her kit is still too lethal to discount, especially with Raze's changes in Patch 7.09.

Unsurprisingly, Killjoy and Viper remain in S-Tier even after the latest update. Sova, a strong A-Tier Agent last Act, deserves to be among the best as the undisputed top Initiator in the game.

A-Tier

  • Raze
  • Omen
  • Cypher
  • Skye
  • Brimstone

The big changes in our Valorant Agent Tier list are the promotion of Cypher and the demotion of Raze. After Raze dominated Episode 7 Act 2, Riot Games delivered a nerf to her Paint Shells and Blast Pack. She is still a great Duelist, but her grenades' damage and explosion radius took a bit hit.

Cypher, on the other hand, finally got a buff that puts him above the middle of the pack. His Trapwrire now concusses a trapped enemy in half the time, and it re-arms after concussing an opponent.

B-Tier

  • Fade
  • Neon
  • Iso
  • Sage
  • Breach
  • Chamber

Iso, the newest Agent to the Valorant roster, seems destined to reside in the B-Tier for now. He is not as good as the other Duelists in the game, like Jett or Raze, and his abilities rely on Initiators to make them effective. Plus, his Ultimate is a huge risk, and could swing a round in the exact opposite way a Duelist's Ultimate should.

C-Tier

  • Gekko
  • Reyna
  • Astra
  • KAY/O
  • Phoenix
  • Harbor

Our C-Tier Agents are reserved for mains or those looking for a different experience in Ranked. Compared to the other Agents in their roles, these Agents do not have as large of an impact on the map, especially against elite Agents like Omen and Killyjoy.

Gekko was a popular choice when he first launched in Valorant, but after several nerfs to his abilities and Wingman, he is fairly easy to counter.

D-Tier

  • Deadlock
  • Yoru

As always, Deadlock and Yoru are the worst Agents in the game. The developers promised a buff for Deadlock by the end of the year, but so far, she has yet to receive any changes that make her a viable Sentinel.
