It's certainly an exciting time to be a Valorant fan this month as not only has Riot Games recently announced its partnership with Xbox Game Pass, but a major update is set to arrive and bring the game into its fifth main chapter with Episode 5 Act 1. Here's a breakdown of the Valorant Patch 5.0 release date.
Valorant Patch 5.0 Release Date: When is it?
Valorant Patch 5.0 is expected to release on Wednesday, June 22, 2022.
June 22 will be a major day in Valorant history as Episode 4 Act 3 will end and usher in Episode 5 Act 1.
As has been the case with new Valorant season launches in the past, expect Riot to release a developer blog post that day covering all of the details in Patch 5.0, as well as a new battle pass, a new premium bundle and what appears to be its newest map.
Aside from Agent balancing, perhaps there could be some weapon changes included in Patch 5.0 considering there haven't been any in Valorant since Patch 4.07 on April 12.
