The Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) is set to close out its 2022 season in İstanbul with Champions, where the top-16 teams from around the world will compete for the Champions Trophy and the title of "world champion."
Starting Wednesday, Aug. 31, the seeded teams will compete in GSL-style group play, with the 16 teams being sorted into pools and randomly drawn into one of four groups to play best-of-three matches. By the end of the Group Stage, two teams from each group will make up the eight-team, double-elimination playoff bracket, aka the Knockout Stage. All of the matches will continue to be best-of-threes until the Lower Final, which will be a best-of-five series. The best-of-five Grand Final will take place on Sunday, Sept. 18 at 10 a.m. ET.
