For those on PlayStation and Xbox looking to play The House of the Dead: Remake, you just might be in luck.
As spotted around the internet in recent days, it appears The House of the Dead: Remake could be coming soon to other platforms aside from the Nintendo Switch very soon. Here's a breakdown of the supposed leaks hinting that The House of the Dead: Remake could be coming to PlayStation and Xbox.
On April 12, @joey_s_banes posted a photo of what appears to be an official, early listing of The House of the Dead: Remake in the Xbox's Microsoft Store as it's marked as "Not Currently Available."
Upon checking the Xbox Store at the time of writing, the entry does not appear to be up.
On April 5, a Reddit user by the name of u/the_andshrew posted a thread to the r/GamingLeaksAndRumors Subreddit, saying that The House of the Dead: Remake had been added to the PlayStation Network backend.
The House of the Dead: Remake, published by Forever Entertainment and developed by MegaPixel Studio, was released for Nintendo Switch on April 7, 2022.
Up to this point, there has yet to be an official announcement on whether or not the game will release on other platforms, but it certainly doesn't seem like these leaks just popped up out of thin air.
Of course, feel free to take this information with a grain salt until its officially confirmed.
Originally announced in 2021, The House of the Dead: Remake was later revealed to be delayed to Spring 2022 before finally arriving on Nintendo Switch this month.
A remade version of the classic, 1997 arcade rail-shooter, The House of the Dead: Remake is said to remain true to its original format, while also introducing a whole new entourage and gameplay changes to suit modern gaming standards.
