Explosive game show shooter The Finals has returned, this time for an Open Beta. The game, developed by ex-Battlefield developers at Embark Studios, brings the military shooter series' destructive action to an innovative objective-based gameplay style. Here's how long you have to get in on the action.
The Finals previously ran in several closed tests, each one tweaking gameplay mechanics and adding new weapons and features. The game is already in an extraordinarily polished state, with few bugs to speak of. My impressions of the second closed beta were largely positive owing to the game's refreshing gameplay and killer style that stands out among the current crop of battle royales and extraction shooters.
The Finals Open Beta: How Long Is It?
According to the game's X page, according to The Finals developer Embark Studios, the current Open Beta will last until Nov. 5. This gives players 10 days to try to "reach The Finals," as the game's tagline goes. This new Open Beta brings changes to the game's equipment unlock system, tweaks some weapons with attachments and sights and brings a new map: Skyway Stadium. Furthermore, this Open Beta is cross-platform, launching on Xbox and PlayStation consoles as well as PC.
