In addition to the Community Day Slowpokes, a corresponding Special Research ticket is available for players to get some extra rewards in Pokémon GO.
The Special Research task, Slow and Slower, costs $1 (or the equivalent in local currency) and is available to all players for purchase. Some sweet prizes like Galarian Slowbro encounters, Pinap Berries and much more await players who complete the tasks challenged to the players.

Slow and Slower Research Tasks Pokemon GO
Here are the specifics of each step within the Research Task and their individual rewards, as well as the rewards you will receive upon successful completion of those steps.
Step 1 of 4
- Catch 15 Slowpoke (Slowpoke Encounter)
- Make five Nice Throws (15 Poké Balls)
- Power up Pokémon 10 times (20 Slowpoke Candies)
Rewards for this step include a Slowpoke encounter, 2,000 Stardust and 1 Star Piece.
Step 2 of 4
- Catch 15 Galarian Slowpoke (30 Slowpoke Candy)
- Transfer 10 Pokémon (Slowking Encounter)
- Evolve three Slowpoke (10 Pinap Berries)
Rewards for this step include a Slowpoke encounter, one Incense and 1,500 XP.
Step 3 of 4
- Evolve three Galarian Slowpoke (one Lucky Egg)
- Make three Great Curveball Throws (50 Slowpoke Candies)
- Transfer 10 Pokémon (15 Great Balls)
Rewards for this step include one Rocket Radar, 15 Ultra Balls and 2,500 XP.
Step 4 of 4
The final step is to claim each of the three rewards, for which you will be granted: two Silver Pinap Berries, a Glaarian Slowking Encounter and 3,500 XP. Rewards for this step include a Galarian Slowbro Encounter, three Rare Candies and 3,000 Stardust.
