Almost as good as infinite rockets in a survival horror game are infinite bullets, and the Resident Evil 4 Remake has one way to get them, by unlocking the Tommy Gun, or Chicago Sweeper. This gangster-certified weapon cuts through cultists and zombies with ease - here's how to unlock it.
The Resident Evil 4 Remake has numerous unlockable weapons, outfits and modes, some of which are sillier than others. A 1920's Tommy Gun might seem out of place in a gritty survival horror game, but needless to say it's a powerful weapon that can make repeat playthroughs on harder difficulties a little more manageable.
Resident Evil 4 Remake Chicago Sweeper: How to Get
Unlike weapons such as the CQBR Rifle, the Chicago Sweeper cannot be unlocked in-game. According to GameRant, to gain access to this weapon players must complete the game's story on Professional Mode with a rank of A or better - Professional Mode itself is only available after beating the game at least once.
Once the gun is acquired and found in Typewriter storage, the Chicago Sweeper can be upgraded like other weapons - when fully upgraded, the gun has unlimited ammo, allowing Leon to mow down enemies to his heart's content.
