The Battle Hardened Perk bug in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 has been patched.
Since the initial launch of Season 5, one of the louder complaints within the Call of Duty: Warzone community in recent weeks has been a bug causing the Battle Hardened Perk to essentially be worthless. Thankfully, it appears this issue has been nipped in the bud with Raven Software's latest patch.
"Fixed an issue that was causing the Battle Hardened Perk to not decrease the time stunned by 80%, as intended," the Sept. 8 patch notes read."
As noted in the initial Aug. 24 patch notes for Season 5: Last Stand, the devs wanted to show some love to the Perk 3 offering by increasing its Stun and Flash resistance properties to 80%. In turn, the effects of Stun and Flash were said to be mitigated to less than a second with the Perk equipped.
According to some of those in the Warzone community, however, Battle Hardened didn't seem to be doing its job early on in Season 5 at all as it still caused incoming Stun effects to last as long as 3.5 seconds.
Ultimately, with Battle Hardened now working as originally intended, the value of Stuns and Flashes should certainly drop moving forward.
Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 is available now on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Battle.net).
