With Pokémon GO Test Your Mettle underway, it's time to prepare yourself and get ready for new steel-type raid bosses. Having the highest defense-stats overall, these Pokémon are especially hard to beat. Though Test Your Mettle starts on Friday, Sept. 16, some of these Pokémon are coming to game earlier than expected.

Steel-type Pokémon across all generations are making their debut into the game, with some only appearing in specific parts of the world. There is no better way to try out your new psychic Pokémon caught during the Psyche Spectacular earlier this month, than in battle against these tough and durable Pokémon. Though the event ends on Sept. 21, most raids will remain in the game until Sept. 27. Having a lot to keep track of, here is a breakdown of who and what to expect heading into this limited-time event.

Pokémon GO Test Your Mettle: Raid Bosses and Hours

Celesteela
The Launch Pokémon will be entering the game Tuesday, Sept. 13. This generation seven Pokémon will appear in five-star raids only in the Southern Hemisphere until Tuesday, Sept. 27.

Kartana
This Generation VII Pokémon will begin appearing in the game for the first time on Tuesday, Sept. 13. Only available in the Northern Hemisphere, the Drawn Sword Pokémon will be in five-star raids until Tuesday, Sept. 27.

Mega Aggron
Available to all parts of the world, Mega Aggron will debut into the game as Test Your Mettle's Mega Raid Boss. This generation three Pokémon will begin appearing when the event starts on Friday, Sept.16 at 10a.m. local time and will be in the game until Tuesday, Sept. 27.

The following Pokemon will be also be appearing throughout the Test Your Mettle event starting Friday, Sept. 16.
