Blizzard is ending Overwatch 2 Season 2 with a bang. As a surprise gift to players, Blizzard is giving them the opportunity to complete Season 2's Battle Pass before it expires. Here's what you need to know about this XP boost.
Overwatch 2 Season 3is coming very soon, bringing with it a new Battle Pass and a host of new content. Overwatch 2 players were given a sneak peek of some of the cosmetics coming to the game in an unofficial leak, including a Mythic skin. Before players can begin earning these skins, however, there's still time to complete the Season 2 Battle Pass, which will be much easier thanks to Blizzard's surprise promotion.
Overwatch 2 Double XP Active Until Feb. 6
In a Jan. 31 tweet, Blizzard announced that Overwatch 2 players would be receiving a double XP boost to celebrate a successful Season 2. This means players who have not yet completed the Season 2 Battle Pass will have an easier time reaching the exciting end-stage rewards, including the Mythic Zeus Junker Queen skin.
Once players complete the Season 2 Battle Pass they'll be able to look forward to Season 3's content, among which may be a new support hero and the long-awaited co-op campaign mode.
