Now that the final major update of the Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard era has just arrived, it's perhaps the perfect time to revisit one of the weapons that remain to be extremely popular, despite not having the stats to back it up.
With there now being 37 total assault rifles for players to choose from thanks to the arrival of the all-new BP50, one of the more interesting developments to track is that the Kilo 141 is continuing to dominate pick rates in Warzone — and likely undeservingly so.
According to WZ Ranked at the time of publication, the Kilo 141 remains to be one of the 12 most popular weapons used across Caldera, Rebirth Island, and Fortune's Keep, despite having an average kill-death ratio (KD) of just 0.73.
Of course, whatever weapon players decide to use should come down to what they're most comfortable with.
It's also worth mentioning that just by the sheer sample size of players, it would make sense that the Kilo 141's KD would be brought way down since there's a wider variety of skilled players using it.
However, considering that again, there are a ton of other viable ARs out there now and that there are (admittedly) overpowered weapons that are even more popular than the Kilo, it's pretty safe to say that the Kilo 141 shouldn't have the popularity that it does.
Especially after the Season 5 Reloaded patch, there certainly are other great Modern Warfare assault rifles to try aside from the Kilo 141, including the Grau 5.56, M13 and CR-56 AMAX, not to mention the absolute meta options as well.
