Today is the day. Tonight at 8 p.m. ET, the 92nd MLB All-Star Game will take place. And with the big game comes the chance for rewards in MLB The Show 22.
Last night we saw the Home Run Derby with Juan Soto being crowned champion. Awards were made available later on in the night. But now that the Derby is over, we get to focus on the All-Star cards being dropped tonight.
MLB The Show 22 All-Star Game Pack Release Time
Just like the Home Run Derby cards, there is no official time when the cards will be released. Instead, we have a timeframe. That timeframe is between 1 and 2 a.m. ET.
It's difficult to give an accurate timeframe for events like this. San Diego Studios Developers have to decide which players are getting cards. After they have to make the card art and give the players stats. The small wait time players have is worth it for the quality content that is dropped.
We don't know which players will be given cards for tonight's game, but one thing we do know is the type of cards.
Just like the Derby packs, we will receive players from the base, mid and rare rounds. The base pack will most likely include two players who had good performances. The mid-round will also include two players and will have players who performed slightly better than the base players.
The rare round is saved for the best of the best. Just like the last two rounds, the rare round will include two players. One of the two players will be whoever is crowned All-Star Game MVP. The other spot is served for the runner-up.
