Apex Legends has recently been experiencing problems with its matchmaking, placing low ranking players against players in Diamond and higher.
While the Apex Legends community has been experiencing a fair amount of content to play through, a large and vocal part of the community has been asking Respawn Entertainment, the developers behind Apex Legends, to address the problems that have been plaguing matchmaking.
Although this problem has been vocalized many times before, it was not until Twitter user @Optimacy117 posted a screenshot of their experience getting matched against higher level players. Optimacy117's post gained enough traction to grab the attention of Samy Duc, the technical director for Apex Legends.
Duc responded quickly and while his message was brief, it let players know that the developers are listening and they are working on a solution to the problem plaguing Apex Legends.
While there were no further details given about what the developers plan to do to alleviate this problem, just having a developer come on and assure the community that things would change for the better was enough for some.
While Apex Legends is still undoubtedly one of the most popular games available right now, it is frustrating to the community when they cannot enjoy their game due to the gap between their skill and the skill of their opponents.
