A trailer has been released for the new Pokémon anime, set in Paldea, the region featured in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, with all new protagonists with their own aspirations earlier today.
With the future of the Pokémon anime looking Ash Ketchum-less, many are excited to see what direction the anime will go in with regards to the new protagonists: Liko, Roy and Friede. The trailer shed some light on each of these character's personality with a sort quote to give us an idea of who they really are alongside their reveal.
As a quick recap, the previous iconic protagonist, Ash, had finally won a Pokémon League Championship, which is why the series will not be focusing on his journey, but we can expect a few Ash cameos.
The trailer was very short, but it did reveal some key information for people planning on keeping up on the anime to watch new characters traverse Paldea and have journeys full of entertaining moments.
Is the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Anime on Netflix?
As far as we know with the limited knowledge presented in the trailer, the anime will not be readily available on Netflix, at least while it is still on-air in Japan and soon, dubbed across the globe.
There is no official date for the dubbed anime, but the anime will be airing on Japanese TV on Apr. 14, with an hourlong special to commemorate the occasion.
