Bryan 'RiceGum' Le was once one of the internet's biggest stars. He gradually reduced his upload frequency until, for unknown reasons, he stopped making videos completely. According to Jake Paul, a social media influencer and a boxer, RiceGum is broke and working at fast food chain McDonald's to make ends meet.
With the exception of the occasional stream, fans have been left in the dark as to what RiceGum is up to since leaving YouTube. RiceGum had over 10 million subscribers for his skits and diss tracks directed at fellow creators.

'RiceGum has no money'
RiceGum returned for a surprise Twitch show, reacting to a footage of Paul, who claimed earlier this year that the YouTube star is now working at McDonald's since he has ceased uploading videos.
“You’re telling me that RiceGum is not working at McDonald’s right now?” said Paul. “Guaranteed,” he added. While others doubted Paul's assertions, Paul stated that RiceGum does not have any money. “There’s not a shot in hell Ricegum has a dollar to his name,” he added.
Ricegum was caught off guard by the comments. Rather of criticizing Jake, Ricegum further, describing how he may appear to have no money from the outside.
"That's crazy," he stated in response on stream. "Nah, that's crazy, I mean, people might think that." He continued, “I mean think about it guys if I made all my money, like if I post a video to make money and then I stop making videos, then you’re like oh he doesn’t have money coming in. Also Jake lived in LA, I lived in LA and I guess Jake knows how expensive, bro life is expensive.”
'No reason to hate on Ricegum'
RiceGum's admirers reacted to the video and praised the YouTuber for handling the matter maturely. A user wrote, "No reason to hate on Ricegum."
Another user added, "handled that way better than he would’ve a few years ago lol."
A user wrote amazed with the RiceGum's maturity, "Damn this is the most mature I’ve ever seen ricegum."
RiceGum returned to YouTube
RiceGum returned to YouTube nearly three years after his last video post. He posted a video informing about his stillborn child with his girlfriend, Ellerie Marie. RiceGum's video takes viewers on an emotional rollercoaster as it follows his girlfriend's pregnancy journey, with gorgeous moments leading up to a heartbreaking revelation.
The prominent YouTuber records the excitement of finding out they were pregnant, the excitement of the ultrasound and baby shower, and the love that went into creating a cot for their baby girl. The video, however, takes a devastating turn at the 3-minute mark, when RiceGum reveals that their 35-week-old infant had no heartbeat. This heartbreaking revelation stunned followers and piqued their interest in RiceGum and his narrative.
