As players explore Gunfire Games' new release, they want to know if Remnant 2 supports cross-platform play.
Remnant 2, the sequel to Remnant: From the Ashes, unveils new worlds full of mythical creatures and lurking enemies for players to explore. Different worlds contain different stories, creatures, weapons, and items that players must master and upgrade to survive. There are also a range of Archetypes players can choose to give themselves the best chance of defeating the game's toughest bosses.
Although Remnant 2 can be played solo, the game will be a lot easier and more enjoyable if you play with your friends. Co-op will be available after all players reach Ward 13 at the beginning of the campaign story. But will you be able to invite your friends playing on different platforms?
Is Remnant 2 Cross-Platform?
Remnant 2 does not support cross-platform play. Fans are not able to play with their friends on other platforms despite the game releasing on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. If your squad happens to be on a different platform than you, you can always join a game of other players already online.
Remnant: From the Ashes allowed PC and Xbox players to play together, so there is always the possibility that Gunfire Games could add cross-platform options post-launch. The game is now available to purchase and play on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
