The following article contains story spoilers for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Respawn Entertainment's action-adventure game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is coming out later this month, bringing the long-awaited sequel to 2019's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order to PCs and consoles. It's known already that the game takes place five years after the original and features an all-new narrative, but some fans are wondering about the game's villains, specifically the iconic Darth Vader, and whether he will make an appearance.
Darth Vader briefly appeared near the end of Fallen Order as a surprise boss fight. The powerful Sith and major antagonist of the Star Wars universe defeats Fallen Order protagonist Cal Kestis, reminding players of the villain's power and comparative weakness of Kestis, who barely escapes.
Is Darth Vader in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?
It is currently unknown if Darth Vader will appear in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Vader did not appear in any trailers for the game and details on the game's story are still scarce. It makes some amount of narrative sense Vader would be interested in Kestis after encountering him in the first game, but the game also has to fit within the greater canon, limiting some possibilities.
