The official release date for A Plague Tale: Requiem will be announced on June 23 2022, at 12 p.m. ET, via a YouTube live stream along with an "exclusive extended gameplay trailer."

Following the ending of A Plague Tale: Innocence, the game continues to follow Hugo and Amicia as they attempt to start a new life in a new region. Players will embark on the emotional journey's second chapter, A Plague Tale: Requiem, with a new setting by exploring the southern parts of France. As players follow Amicia and Hugo's journey, they will experience the medieval dyery with the enriching historical context of the 14th century and vibrant cities.
