With the release of Overwatch 2 just around the corner, Blizzard is giving a chance for players to unlock a legendary Kiriko skin early. Known as the ninja hero and for her kitsune spirit, Kiriko is a support hero being added to the game during its debut on Oct. 4. Kiriko will be available for free for players who already own a copy of the original Overwatch, and, for those who don’t, Kiriko can be instantly unlocked when the Overwatch 2 Season 1 Premium Battle Pass is purchased for $10.
Sporting a blue and white souvenir jacket, her legendary skin is called Sukajan Kiriko. Here is the way for players to get their hands on this legendary Kiriko skin.
How to Unlock Legendary Kiriko Skin for Overwatch 2
For those who watch Twitch, earning the legendary skin will be fairly easy. First players must link their Twitch and Battle.net account. Even if you have received Twitch drops for Overwatch in the past, players must reconnect their accounts. For this, follow these steps below:
- Log in to your Battle.net account
- Navigate to the Battle.net Connections page
- Select Connect next to Twitch and follow the instructions
After the accounts are linked, to earn the legendary Kiriko skin, simply watch any stream in the Overwatch 2 category for a total of six hours. Built cumulatively, this deal only lasts between Oct. 7 at 2:00 p.m. PDT and Oct. 16 at 11:59 p.m. PDT
Additionally, to earn a Razor Sharp Spray for Kiriko, players must watch any stream in the Overwatch 2 category on Twitch for two hours consecutively. This must be completed between October 17 at 11:00 a.m. PDT and October 24 at 12:00 a.m. PDT. For another three hours, players are able to earn a Donut Weapon Charm.
These rewards must be claimed in the drops inventory within 14 days or it will expire. When claimed, make sure you are logged into the region that you want to receive the drops in, and it will deliver to your account within 24 hours.
