A new Battle Rifle, called the Cronen Squall, is coming to Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 Season 3.
The Warzone 2 Season 3 roadmap revealed all the content coming to the Battle Royale on Apr. 12, including two new weapons. The Intervention Sniper is making its return to Call of Duty for the first time since Infinite Warfare, this time known as the FJX Imperium. Sniping lost its popularity in Warzone 2, but the iconic weapon could bring sniping back into the meta.
Season 3 will also introduce the Cronen Squall. According to the Call of Duty Staff, the DMR is "designed for distance shooting and exceptional damage output." The Cronen Squall will serve as an alternative option to the Tempus Torrent for players looking to run a Battle Rifle on Ashika Island or Al Mazrah.
Here's a breakdown of how to get the Cronen Squall in Season 3.
How to Get Cronen Squall in Warzone 2.0
Players will be able to unlock the Cronen Squall in the Season 3 Battle Pass. Although it is unclear what sector the weapon will reside in, players will not have to worry about purchasing the Battle Pass to retrieve the free reward.
Both the Cronen Squall and FJX Imperium will be in the Battle Pass at launch. Two new sidearms will also drop in Season 3 Reloaded. Come mid-season, players will be able to obtain a customizable machine pistol and a high-caliber pistol that will blast enemies back if they get too close.
Players can begin unlocking the new weapons in the Battle Pass on Apr. 12 at 1 p.m. ET.
