Looking to get one of Crisis Core's best moves, Costly Punch? Here's what you need to know.

Costly Punch is an interesting move in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion. At first glance, its 38 base damage stat isn't much to look at. But, the more HP you have, the more the damage stat increases. This ability pretty much cements itself as indispensable as you level up and gain HP, giving you a very real chance to hit the 99,999 damage attacks.

There are a few caveats to Costly Punch, though. First, each use consumes some of Zack's HP. Not too much to worry about if you've already got a strong HP pool. Secondly, if Zack’s HP has the Break effect active, making it higher than its base amount, then Costly Punch will actually do 0 damage.
