Collecting Badges to show of your weapon prowess in Splatoon 3? Here's how to get them.

Splatoon 3, Nintendo's latest entry into the popular Splatoon franchise, launched just a few days ago on Sept. 9. Adding in plenty of customization options for players to craft their own in-game aesthetic, players need to work hard in order to unlock everything the game has to offer.

One way to show-off just how well you perform during matches is through Badges, which can be added to a Banner to display a player's freshness. Here's how to earn them.

How to Earn Badges in Splatoon 3

Badges are collected through using a weapon to increase its freshness and its ink points. Ink points are collected by playing a certain amount of games. Badges seem to be earned after getting a weapon to level four or five freshness. Keep playing games and defeating other players and you'll be earning Badges in no time.

Up to three Badges can be applied to your Banner. The style of the Banner, as well as your Player Title, can be changed, too. Customization options for each can be unlocked through a variety of ways, such as through Story Mode or through the Catalog.

Splatoon 3 is available now exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
