With Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 primed to headline Activision's "new era" of the franchise, it appears Infinity Ward is adding a fun feature seen in other popular shooters — Interrogation.
Here's a breakdown of how the Interrogation system works in Warzone 2 and DMZ.
How Does the Interrogation Feature Work in Warzone 2 and DMZ?
As described by Infinity Ward in its latest blog post, it appears the Interrogation feature will function just about how it has in Fortnite and Rainbow Six Siege. In squad-based modes in Warzone 2 and DMZ, players can reveal enemy locations by successfully shaking down player-controlled enemies while they are downed.
Of course, the action of interrogating an opponent does leave the initiator defenseless during the sequence, so those digging for information should likely do so only when they know the coast is clear or if they have a teammate keeping watch.
Once the Interrogation is complete, the locations of the downed enemy's teammates will be revealed. Since Activision has yet to reveal what this would look like, it will be interesting to see how strong it is on day one.
