Fortnite Outfits have been looking a little low-quality lately on the PlayStation 4. Here's how to fix it.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is finally here, dropping players into the futuristic cityscape of MEGA City. With a variety of new features to check out, from new POIs to new NPCs to find, this latest Chapter could be one to remember.
But not everything has been smooth sailing. As with any new content update, there's bound to be some bugs and glitches that make their way into the game. In the case of Fortnite players dropping into the island on last gen consoles, mainly the PlayStation 4, some things are looking a little strange.
PS4 players might have noticed that some of their Outfits have strange textures, such as appearing to be pf a much lower quality than they're used to. Epic Games has confirmed that this is an unintended bug, so for now players can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that they won't be looking like that permanently.
So, how do you fix it?
How to Fix Low Quality Outfit Textures in Fortnite
At the time of writing, there's no immediate fix for the visual texture glitch. However, Epic Games has issued a statement on the matter:
"We are aware of an issue causing reduced texture quality with outfits on PlayStation 4," the post read.
"This will be fixed in an upcoming update."
So for now, PlayStation 4 players will need to sit tight and wait a little bit longer before the visual glitch is fixed. There's no official timeline for when the next update is set to roll out, but Epic Games usually drops a patch every Tuesday which means that we could see a fix either today, or on March 21.
