Fortnite's latest patch has dropped, v23.50, and marks the last major content drop of the season.
Chapter 4 Season 1 has been quite the ride so far. Aside from a whole host of map changes, players have seen new Reality Augments, The Witcher-themed quests, and a huge variety of other features that shaped the battle field.
But, before the season wraps up, Epic Games has dropped another content update — v23.50. This time, players can tackle new Cipher Quests up until March 7, 2023. earning special cosmetics and the all important XP to help complete the Battle Pass.
Below, we've detailed everything you can expect from Fortnite's v23.50 update.

Cipher Quests
In the new Cipher Quests section, found on the Quests page, players will spot special new quests. Some will have clear objectives and others...not so much. Follow clues to work out the objective of the encrypted quests. Completing one will unlock another when it becomes available.
A new Cipher Quest will be added each day until March 7, 2023, and all the Quests will be available until March. 10.
Players will earn XP for completing individual Cipher Quests, and cosmetics for completing a certain amount:
- 7 unencrypted Cipher Quests: Keep the Peace Spray
- 15 unencrypted Cipher Quests: Order Up Loading Screen
- 24 unencrypted Cipher Quests: Deciphered Emoticon
- 3 encrypted Cipher Quests: Circuitry Wrap
Unvaulted Weapons
The Six Shooter and the Infantry Rifle have been unvaulted. These classic weapons can be found as ground loot, in Chests and Supply Drops.
Miscellaneous Updates
- The Oathbound Chest spawn rate has increased from 70% to 100%.
- Players have an increased chance to roll the Mechanical Archer Reality Augment.
- In v23.50, Reality Augments you haven't unlocked will be more likely to unlock.
Major Bug Fixes
- Fixed the issue that caused us to disable the Rift-jector Seat Reality Augment. This Reality Augment is now re-enabled.
