Fortnite and Destiny 2 Crossover: What We Know So Far

A Fortnite and Destiny 2 collaboration is almost certainly on the way.

Fortnite, notorious for its bombastic collaborations with other franchises, seems to have yet another high-profile crossover event. The data mined information comes as a bit of a surprise as the current Fortnite and Dragon Ball Z event hasn't even ended yet.

These crossovers usually contain cosmetic items, in-game weapons, and new areas of interest on the map. Having crossed over with franchises such as Star Wars, Naruto, and Halo it seemed like Epic Games were going to slow down, but a recent tweet from Shiina, a verified account who is an official partner of Epic Games, announced that Destiny 2 and Fortnite will be crossing over.

Fortnite and Destiny 2 Collaboration Announced

Little is known about the upcoming event, but one thing for sure is that players will be getting some skins heavily inspired by Destiny 2. Since Destiny is a sci-fi shooter, it would not be far-fetched to see some of the iconic weapons from the game make their way into Fortnite.

Maybe the class abilities or legendary weapons such as Cayde's Revolver could make an appearance. Fortnite could implement AI enemies just as they did for their Star Wars collaboration as well.

While the details are still slim, it's clear that Fortnite's newest crossover event with Destiny 2 is full of potential.
