FIFA 23 World Cup History Makers: How to Claim Free Cards
All players have to do to be eligible for World Cup History Maker items is play FIFA 23 between Nov. 9 and Jan. 3, 2023. Logging into the Web App and playing the EA Play trial are excluded from inclusion. Every available platform is available for eligibility.
Players will be granted the items between Dec. 23 and Jan. 3, 2023.

Players will get a loan Icon or FUT Hero and a World Cup History Makers item. Of the items promoted, here's what we know so far:
- Loan Zinedine Zidane Icon and World Cup History Makers Kylian Mbappe
- Loan David Beckham and World Cup History Makers Jude Bellingham
EA Sports revealed special edition covers for FIFA 23 during the World Cup. The two previously mentioned have covers, and there is also a USA themed cover with Clint Dempsey and Christian Pulisic. That would line up with the loan FUT Hero aspect of the promotion.

Finally, World Cup History Makers items will upgrade twice during FIFA 23. A bonus on top of what is already a free event to participate in. The items will upgrade on:

- Feb. 14, 2023 (second upgrade)
