New limited-time research has made its way into Pokémon GO: the Electrify the Sky event. Here's your guide for everything you need to know about the Electrify the Sky research in Pokémon GO.
Pokémon GO Electrify the Sky Guide
Fortunately for players, Electrify the Sky is a short Pokémon GO event, requiring you to complete just two one-stage quests in order to complete it. The first quest is to catch ten Pikachu, which will reward 50 Mega Latias Energy upon completion. This will be made easier due to the introduction of a brand new special event Pikachu which will spawn more frequently for players to catch. This Pikachu is especially distinctive as it will be floating mid-air, suspended by a bundle of balloons.
The second quest is to catch 30 flying-type Pokémon, and rewards 50 Mega Latios Energy. This may take a little longer to achieve, but with four days left in the event, and spawning rates of flying-type Pokémon like Charizard, Swablu, Wingull and more all boosted, it should still be achievable fairly easily.
Finally, once you have completed both objectives, you will be rewarded with 3,000 XP, and one more encounter with the special event Pikachu.
