Dr Disrespect wants a change for Apex Legends ranked, something that seems simple enough. While the lower lobby rate makes for less chaotic matches compared to other battle royales, it would work perfectly for duos. But instead of working on your rank, you have to play a normal match for duos.
It can be frustrating when only one friend is on or even more if you like playing with one player. The gunfights feel crisper and more complete when it's just a 2v2 fight. This seems to be something that the Doc agrees with.

Plus, since the lobbies are only 60, you wouldn't need to find as many teams as if you were trying to fill a lobby of 100 players. It's only 60 for Apex, so only 30 squads. Yes, it's 10 more than normal ranked, but the player base should be large enough.
Respawn Entertainment needs to continue to work on evolving the game to compete with competitors, and this could be an easy addition.
