The Cooper Carbine has always been a solid option for players to use when dropping into Caldera or Fortune's Keep. Despite this, in Warzone the NZ-41 has reigned supreme as the main meta assault rifle, with a pick rate of about 16%. The NZ-41, like the Cooper Carbine is a gun from Call of Duty: Vanguard, however the NZ-41 didn't debut until Season 4.
The meta, however, is always changing, and now the Cooper Carbine may have taken the top spot. In a recent video, popular Warzone player IceManIsaac released a video in which it was revealed that now the Cooper Carbine has a faster time to kill than the NZ-41.
Cooper Carbine Has Better TTK Than NZ-41 After Warzone Season 4 Changes
IceManIsaac showed that the Cooper Carbine is an excellent weapon when playing duos or solos because of its above average fire rate. The popular warzone creator did mention that technically the NZ-41 has higher damage per magazine, but since the Cooper Carbine shoots faster, the TTK is much faster. The Cooper Carbine also has a slower ADS and muzzle velocity than the NZ-41, but makes up for it with superior fire rates and recoil control, making it effective at any range and perfect for solos or duos.
Here's the loadout IceManIsaac provided:
- Muzzle: MX Silencer
- Barrel: 22″ Cooper Custom
- Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
- Stock: Cooper Custom Padded
- Perk: Tight Grip
- Perk 2: On-Hand
- Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
- Magazine: 9mm 60 Round Drums
- Ammunition: Lengthened
- Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
The Cooper Carbine can be paired with virtually any secondary. SMGs such as the MP7 work well, or even snipers such as the 3-Line Rifle can be paired effectively with the Cooper Carbine, it's all just dependent on the gamer's play style.
