CDL Moshpit Modern Warfare 2: Maps, Modes, Restrictions

The CDL Moshpit multiplayer playlist has been to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Treyarch announced Thursday.

On Nov. 2, Treyarch initially revealed that Ranked Play will be coming to MW2 in 2023 and that in meantime, players could brush up their skills in the CDL Moshpit playlist launching at the start of Season 1.

After a two-week delay, CDL Moshpit is live in-game as promised. For those wondering what the mode is, here's a breakdown of everything you need to know about CDL Moshpit in Modern Warfare 2.

MW2 CDL Moshpit: What is it?

As advertised, the CDL Moshpit in Modern Warfare 2 invites players to engage in competitive, 4v4 matches using the same modes, maps, and settings used in the Call of Duty League 2023 ruleset. Although there aren't any ranked points at stake, CDL Moshpit will allow players to use select Weapons, Attachments, Equipment, Perks, Field Upgrade, and Streaks based on official CDL Competitive rules.

Per Treyarch, players should take note that CDL Moshpit and CDL Private Matches do share loadouts. As such, players are recommended to create their preferred loadouts in a CDL Private Match lobby before matchmaking to navigate restrictions easily.
