Splatoon 3 is finally coming to the Nintendo Switch later this week, bringing new special weapons, stages and the series' first stab at a single-player mode. Players who pre-order Splatoon 3 can also pre-load the game. This allows them to get into the game as soon as it releases without having to download or install it when it launches.
To pre-load Splatoon 3, players who have pre-ordered the game simply need to navigate to the game's page in the Nintendo digital storefront.
- Open the Nintendo eShop on your Switch home page
- Navigate to the Splatoon 3 store page using the search bar
- If you haven't, pre-order the game
- Begin the download
Splatoon 3 takes up 5.2GB of storage. It will be released Friday, Sept. 9.
