One of the most iconic weapons in Star Wars is the Lightsaber, wielded by Jedi and Sith. 2019's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order had protagonist Cal Kestis use a Lightsaber throughout much of the game, but sequel Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, is going a step further.
Can You Make Your Own Lightsaber in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?
Hands-on gameplay footage obtained earlier this week by YouTuber Azzatru confirmed that players will be able to customize their Lightsaber extensively. Footage shows the ability to swap out different hilts, switches and most importantly, blades in their weapon. This means players will have access to numerous colors of their Lightsaber, ranging from classic blue and green to more exotic colors like white and purple.
Players will also be able to change what type of Lightsaber they have, meaning it might be double-bladed, one- or two-handed or have other features, potentially affecting gameplay use. It's unclear just how variable these weapons are and how many players will have access to, but the level of customization is impressive.
Players will be able to make their own Lightsaber when Star Wars Jedi: Survivor releases on PC and consoles later this month.
